You can view detailed summary of the Software Assets on the selected Tenant, Category, and Store.

To View Software Details:

  1. Select Asset > User > Manage Asset > Asset Inventory.

  2. On the ASSET INVENTORY page, under the SELECT THE ASSET TYPE section, select SOFTWARE icon.

  3. On the SOFTWARE page, under DETAILS section, select the Tenant to view the summary details of the Software based on the Category and Store. Expand each Category to view the Store-wise Software details.

    • Click the hyperlink under the Allocated column to view the Allocated License page for the specific Store.

    • Click the hyperlink under Available column to view the software details available in a specific store.

    • Click the hyperlink under Inactive column to view the details of inactive software with respect to a specific store. 

    • Click the hyperlink under Total column to view the details of the entire software assets of a specific store irrespective of its status.

Allocate/Deallocate License

Click on the hyperlink of the Asset ID to view the license details of the allocated software assets of the selected store.

Action ButtonAction Description

Click ALLOCATE to allocate a selected software license to a user or machine.

Click DE-ALLOCATE to deallocate a software license.

Click PRINT to print the list of records displayed on the page.

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the report on the current page to Microsoft Excel sheet.

Click EXPORT ALL to export all the records to Microsoft Excel sheet.

Note

The Reporting Manager and Alternate Supervisor details of the asset owner are captured under the MACHINE ALLOCATION DETAILS section.

Available Software License Details

The below SOFTWARE DETAILS page displays the details of software licenses that are available in-store to allocate.

and  icons are appended on the Software Details pop-up pages.

  • Clicking on EXPORT TO EXCEL icon exports software asset details on the respective page to an Excel sheet. 

  • Clicking on EXPORT TO ALL icon exports the entire software asset details of the selected status of a specific store to an excel sheet.

ACTIONS

Filters

Click the icon to specify the required filter criteria to view a particular set of Software Assets, and then click SUBMIT. For more information about the fields on the FILTERS  pop-up page, see Field Description.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page.

Field

Description

Tenant

Select the Tenant from the drop-down list.

Category

Select the Category from drop-down list.

Store

Click the search icon to select the store from the list.

Attribute Name

Select the Asset Attribute based on the selected Category. The Attribute Name fields, such as the Asset ID, Asset Code, and Publisher name are static fields. All other fields are dynamic.

Attribute Value

Select the Attribute Value based on the selected Attribute Name. Based on the values selected in the Attribute Name field, the Attribute Value may be a text box, drop-down list, or date field. Only procured Publisher and License names are populated in the list upon selecting Publisher or License as Attribute.

Status

By default, In-Store (Available) Status is selected for the Software.

Sub Status

Click the search glass to select a Sub status of the Software. 

Show only Available Licenses

If selected, a list of software licenses whose available quantity is greater than zero is displayed on the List page.  

ADD

Click the icon to add Software Assets (see: Adding Software Assets).
