Feature released in SummitAI IT Service Management (Asset Management, Tahoe)

What's New?

Additional information of the Reporting Manager and Alternate Supervisor are captured while performing allocation and reallocation of Fixed and Non-fixed Assets. Upon selecting  the user name from the User attribute, the respective Reporting Manager information is auto-populated. This provides information about the Manager of the Asset owner. Also, the Analyst can select the value for the Alternate Supervisor. On the MY ASSET LIST page, both the Reporting Manager and Alternate Supervisor can view the details of their respective reportees and any one can perform action on behalf of the user/reportee on the asset.

Business Benefit:

This feature is more useful when the customer has Contract employees. In such cases, the Reporting Manager/Alternate Supervisor is made the first owner of the asset and the contractual employee becomes the second owner of the asset. This enables the user to search assets based on the individual Reporting Manager/Alternate Supervisor.

UI changes:

  • New fields, Reporting Manager and Alternate supervisor are introduced on the ALLOCATE FIXED ASSET, REALLOCATE FIXED ASSET, ALLOCATE CONSUMABLE, ALLOCATE TO USER, ALLOCATE TO ASSET page, and LICENSE ALLOCATION pages.
