SUMMIT BI Dashboards

The Administrators can create new BI Dashboards by adding the already created dashboards.. The configured dashboard can be accessed from the Dashboard menu of the End User Dashboard page.
Prerequisite
To configure new dashboards, user must have access to Advanced BI Dashboard Configuration List sub menu.
How to Enable Advanced BI Dashboard Configuration List sub menu?
To enable Advanced BI Dashboard Configuration List sub menu:
- Select Admin> Basic > Users > Role Template. The ROLE TEMPLATE page is displayed.
- Click Filters on the ACTIONS panel. The FILTERS pop-up page is displayed.
- Select the Domain from the drop-down list and click SUBMIT. A list of configured Role Templates for the selected Domain is displayed.
- Select the required ROLE TEMPLATE from the LIST. The ROLE TEMPLATE - MENU CONFIGURATION page is displayed.
- Click ADMIN from under the MODULES section.
- Select the Edit and View check box for Advanced BI Dashboard Configuration List to provide the edit and view access.
- Click SUBMIT to save the configuration.

To configure a Dashboard:
- Select Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Advanced BI Dashboard Configuration List. The ADVANCED BI DASHBOARD CONFIGURATION LIST page is displayed.

- Specify Dashboard Name and select Active check box to make this dashboard active.
- Specify Tab Name, Tab Order Number, and select Active check box to make this tab active.
- Click ADD NEW TAB.
- Under the newly added tab, select required Module, Report, Report Format, and click ADD. For more information about the fields on the BI DASHBOARD CONFIGURATION page see, Field Description.
- Click SUBMIT. A new Dashboard is added.

The following table describes the fields on the SUMMIT BI DASHBOARD CONFIGURATION page:

Dashboard Name
Provide the dashboard name.
Active If selected, the dashboard name will be displayed under the Dashboard menu of the End User Dashboard page. Tab Configuration Tab Name Specify the tab name. Tab Order Specify the tab order. The display order of the tab is depends on the tab order. Active If selected, the corresponding tab will be displayed in the dashboard or else the tab becomes inactive.
ADD TAB Click ADD TAB to add the tab. You can add multiple tabs. UPDATE This button is displayed when you click the existing tab. Click to update to update the configuration for the existing tab. Module Name Select the module name. Data in the further fields are populated based on the selected module. Report Name The dashboards are displayed based on the selected module. Select a dashboard that you want to map to the tab. Report Format Select the format of the report. ADD Click ADD to add the configured settings. Delete Click Delete to delete the mapped report. Note:
To edit a dashboard, click the required dashboard name on the SUMMIT BI DASHBOARD CONFIGURATION LIST page. Make appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.
To view the configured dashboard:
Prerequisite:
Ensure that you have access to the End User Dashboard (Theme Configured). To know about how to apply theme to the end user dashboard see, Theme.
To view the configured dashboards, user must have access to these reports. To know about how to provide access using role template menu see, Role Template Menu Configuration.
To provide access, perform below steps:
- Select Admin> Basic > Users > Role Template. The ROLE TEMPLATE page is displayed.
- Click Filters on the ACTIONS panel. The FILTERS pop-up page is displayed.
- Select the Domain from the drop-down list and click SUBMIT. A list of configured Role Templates for the selected Domain is displayed.
- Select the required ROLE TEMPLATE from the LIST. The ROLE TEMPLATE - MENU CONFIGURATION page is displayed.
- Click DASHBOARD from under the MODULES section.
- Select the View check box corresponding to the dashboards name as shown below to provide view access.
- Click SUBMIT to save the configuration.

To view the configured dashboards:
- On the End User Dashboard page, click the Dashboard menu.
- A list configured dashboards is displayed.
