Deactivating Software

The selected root page could not be found.

You can deactivate the In-Store Software that are decommissioned, or not usable due to end of life.

To deactivate Software:

  1. Select Asset > User > Manage Asset > Asset Inventory.

  2. On the ASSET INVENTORY page, under the SELECT THE ASSET TYPE section, click SOFTWARE.

  3. On the selected SOFTWARE page, the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the value for Status as In-Store and select the other required filter criteria. Click SUBMIT. For more information about fields on the FILTERS pop-up page, see Searching Assets.

  4. The list of Software based on the filter criteria is displayed.

  5. Select the check box corresponding to the Software you want to deactivate. You should select only one Asset at a time. On the ACTIONS panel, click DEACTIVATE.

  6. On the DEACTIVATE SOFTWARE page, specify the required information and click SUBMIT.
