Orchestration requires information from SummitAI (product) which can be obtained by configuring the API base URL. Then configure the list of APIs that fetch the data required from SummitAI. Since Orchestration support is available for Incident management, service request and work order modules, we will map the APIs to the corresponding fields. This page is a guide to configure fields of a module to a particular data source and align it to the API.
Configuring Field Maps
The following are the steps to configure the field settings and map the data based on the selected Module:
Step 1: Select Field Mapping configurations from the Orchestration menu.

Data fields that will be used in the client’s service automation application are defined in this section.
Step 2: Select the module from the Module name drop-down list to load the module field mapping configurations.

Step 3: Specify the required details.
Step 4: Click SUBMIT. The Data Settings for the selected Module are saved.

The following table describes the fields on the Field Mapping Configurations page:

Field Name
Default names are displayed based on the Module selection.
Field Alias
Specify the required name to be displayed.
Control Type
Specify the type of control. Following are the types of controls:
Textbox
Dropdown
Autosearch
Treeview
Data Source Name
Select the Data Source name from the drop-down list.
Response Key
Specify the Response Key value. The response key always has the fields data. Response key is always defined as OutputObject.FieldName
Example: If Field name is “Caller” and control type is not textbox, then the response key is “OutputObject.Caller”
Active
Use the toggle switch to toggle configured data settings as active or inactive.
Only active fields are displayed in the Workflow Designer.
