Administrators can provide the ability to the users to do Self Check-in when required. For example, during a pandemic like COVID-19, the users can themselves check-in the parameters that are set by their administrators to successfully get access to the workspace.
The Safe Workplace Integration with IOT is an Out of the Box integration facility that the Administrators can leverage for their organization. To enable this integration, the administrators can enable the new Enable Safe Workplace Integration with IOT checkbox available on the Application Settings page. For more information see, Configuring Application Settings.
After enabling the option, the administrators can configure the parameters that are required for Self Check-in process.
Benefits
The following are the benefits of Safe Workplace Integration with IOT feature:
- Ensure compliance with your workspace.
- Health Screening ability to validate the well-being of the employees.
- Accurate data throughout the system to streamline the process.
- Validating the employees’ safety measures in a quicker manner.
- Contactless On-Boarding to the workspace.
Safe Workplace Configurations
The following configuration must be performed for enabling the Safe Workplace Integration:
- Self Check-in Catalog Configuration
- Service Request Management Custom Attribute Configuration
- Custom Scheduler Job Configuration
Self Check-in Catalog Configuration
The Administrator should configure the Self Check-in Catalog with all the required questions that need to be answered by the users to access the workspace every day. Also, configure the Risk Level rules to calculate the risk level factor to raise the SR. For more information on configuring catalogs and configuration impacts,, see Creating Service Catalogs and Configuration Impacts.
Service Request Management Custom Attribute Configuration
The Administrator should configure the Scanned Time, Validity, Entry and Temperature custom attributes with the required names for Service Request Management. These custom attributes names should be mapped on the Application Settings page after enabling the Enable Safe Workplace Integration with IOT check box.
This configuration helps to track the Scan Time, Validity, Entry and Temperature details when the QR Code is scanned by the user and those details are displayed in the Custom Attribute Detail section of the Service Request Details page. For more information, see Configuring Custom Fields.
Custom Scheduler Job Configuration
The Administrator should configure the SR QR Code Generation Job in the Custom Scheduler page, (Select Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Custom Scheduler) to display the QR code on the My Service Request page. For more information, see Configuring Custom Scheduler.
Configuration Impacts
