What is IT Clinic?
The IT Clinic feature provides a drop-in IT support and to the users in the organization. The users can book an Appointment in advance or just walk-in for issues that look simple and can be resolved quickly.
Example:
- Mail configuration on mobile
- Enabling USB port
- Mouse/ LAN cable replacement
What is a Kiosk?
A kiosk is provided to the users, where they can book Appointments based on their schedule and availability. IT Clinic reduces burden on the IT Support desk, where it performs the basic level of troubleshooting. It refers to the IT Service Desk for more complicated issues.
Benefits of IT Clinic
The IT Service Desk provides resolutions to the IT and networking related issues encountered by the users of an organization. Typically, IT Service Desk provides support to L1 – L3 (low-complex) level issues. However, if there is an IT Clinic in place, the Level 1 support can be provided by them. IT Clinic is helpful for organizations, which have a huge number of users working in different locations.
