Global Search
The Global Search icon is available on the top panel of the Application where the users can search for a specific text in the users (User), menu items (Menu), and modules, such as Incident, Request, Asset, Change, Problem, CMDB, Network, Server, Knowledge, Workorder, and Task.
This enhancement is about Task in the Global Search.
Search Task
As part of the global search, Task is one of the search elements. Which is searched based on the Key Words.
- Log in to Application as an Analyst.
- Click Search icon on the Dashboard.
Module search selection is displayed. By default, Incident and Request are selected.

Search is displayed based on the matching Keyword entered in the search box.

If the searched Keyword is present in the below Task list, then it is displayed under the Task Accordion.
Column Name | Description |
---|---|
Task ID | Specify a Task ID. |
CR ID | Specify associated CR ID. |
Logged Time | Display Task logged time. |
Logged By | Mentions the name of the user by whom the Task was logged. |
Status | Display the Status of Task, such as New, In Progress, Pending, etc. |
Assigned Analyst | Mentions the Analyst name to whom the Task is assigned to. |
Description | Provides the detail about the Task. |
