Viewing Software Delivery Status

You can view the status of software delivery (see: Configuring Software Delivery) for each Asset. You can also view the software delivery task completion for each Asset, such as start and end time, status message with an indicator, output messages, and errors occurred during the process.

To view software delivery status:

  1. Select Asset > User > Software Delivery> Software Delivery Status.
  2. On the SOFTWARE DELIVERY STATUS page, the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the required options and click SUBMIT (See: Filters)
  3. A DETAILS table listing software delivery status as per the filter criteria is displayed. For information about the fields on the SOFTWARE DELIVERY STATUS page, see Field Description.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the SOFTWARE DELIVERY STATUS page:

Description

DETAILS

IP Address

Displays the IP address where the software is installed.

software

Displays the name of the selected software.

Version

Displays the version of the software.

Indicator

Displays the status of the software delivery. The status indicators are explained as follows:

  • Red: Indicates that there was an error while delivering the software.
  • Green: Indicates that the software delivery was successful and completed.
  • Grey: Indicates that the software delivery is not started, in-progress,or restarted.

Status

Displays the status of software delivery.

Update By

Displays the means through which the software is updated, Agent or Remote.

Start Time

Displays the start time of software delivery.

End Time

Displays the end time of software delivery.

Job Expiration Time

Displays the date and time when the respective job is expired.

Messages

Displays the status message of the software delivery on an Asset

Output

Displays the output message of the software that you installed on an Asset.

Errors

Displays the error message that occurred while delivering the software on an Asset.

ACTIONS

The following section explains all the icons on the ACTIONS panel of the SOFTWARE DELIVERY STATUS page.

Filters

You can view the Software Delivery Status as per the selected filter criteria. Fill in the required details and click SUBMIT.

The following table displays the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page:

Field

Description

Tenant

Select the Tenant from the drop-down list.

Job Type

Select any of the following job types from the drop-down list:

  • Software Delivery: If selected, it displays the list of machines and corresponding software deployment status.
  • Profile Based Deployment: If selected, it displays the list of machines and corresponding profile based deployment status.

Software Name

Select the name of the software from the list.

Updated by

Select the option for software update from the list.

Profile

Select the profile from the drop-down list.

Job Name

Select the job name from the drop-down list. The job names are populated in the list based on the job type selection.

Status

Select the status from the list. Following can be the software delivery status:

  • Not Started: Indicates that the software delivery has not started yet.
  • In-Progress: Indicates that the software delivery is in process.
  • Completed: Indicates that the software delivery process is complete and successful.
  • Error: Indicates that there was an error during software delivery.
  • Restart: Indicates that you can restart the process of software delivery.
  • Ready: Indicates that the software is ready to be delivered.
  • Uninstalled: Indicates that the software is uninstalled.

Start Date

Specify the start date of the software delivery.

End Date

Specify the end date of the software delivery.

IP Address

Type in the IP address to view the software delivery status.

REFRESH

Click REFRESH to refresh the page.

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the records displayed on this page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

EXPORT ALL

Click EXPORT ALL to export all the records to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

RE-EXECUTE PATCH

Select a software and click RE-EXECUTE PATCH to restart the process of delivering the software to Assets.
