Configuring Security Questions

You can configure Security Questions to reset password or unlock account. You can also configure answers to the Security Questions by mapping questions to the configured user information.
To configure Security Questions:
- Select Admin > Advanced > Password Management > Security Question.
- On the SECURITY QUESTION page, specify the required details. For more information about the fields on the SECURITY QUESTION page, see Field Description.
- Click SUBMIT. A new Security Question is added.

Field Description
The following table describes the fields on the SECURITY QUESTION page:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Question | Specify the Question that you wish to be displayed as a Security Question to reset password or unlock account. |
Map To | Select the user from the drop-down list to map with the Security Question or select Other (example: Location, Date of Birth). |
Show Answer As | Select the type of field to be displayed for the Security Question. Example: Text box. |
Active | Indicates the status of the Security Question.

ACTIONS
This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the SECURITY QUESTION page.
SHOW LIST
Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the Security Questions configured in the SummitAI application.

- To edit a Security Question, click the Question. Make the required changes and click SUBMIT.
- To display the inactive Security Questions, click the Include Inactive check box.
Note:
When the Security Questions are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to add a new Security Question.
