What does Reverting Back to Previous Version Mean?
Using the Revert Back to Previous Version option, the Analysts can move back a CI to the previous version. If any changes are made to a CI and after the Post Implementation Review (P.I. Review) of the Change Record (CR), if the change needs to be reversed, it can be done. This ensures that reversal of the changes can be done, in case, the change implementation fails or there are negative impacts of the change.
Advantages
- Backup of the previous version
- Option to revert to the previous version in case the CR fails or there are negative impacts of the CR.
Accessing the Feature
After a CR is implemented, the Post Implementation Reviewer can revert back to the previous version on the Change Record page, see Creating Change Records.
