Asset Dashboard

What is Asset Dashboard?

On the ASSET DASHBOARD page (Dashboard menu), you can view the important charts and reports of the Asset Management module. You can view the count of Assets and status-wise distribution of Assets for each Asset type, such as Fixed, Consumable, Accessories, and Software Asset types. You can view the variance and category-wise distribution of variance for hardware, software, and software non-compliance. You can also view the Operating System Summary report and count of Assets that are In-Repair, Pending Acceptance, Allocated Pending Returns, and so on status. Select the Tenant for which you want to view the Asset Dashboard.

Various Sections of the Page

This section explains the various sections of the ASSET DASHBOARD page:

HARDWARE

  • You can view the total count of Fixed Assets and the count of Fixed Assets that are Allocated, In Repair, In Store, and Deactive. You can mouse over on the chart to view the percentage of Fixed Assets for each Asset status.
  • You can view the total count of Consumable Assets and the count of Consumable Assets that are Available, Allocated, and Deactivated. You can mouse over on the chart to view the percentage of Consumable Assets for each Asset status.
  • You can view the total count of Accessories Assets and the count of Accessories Assets that are Available, Allocated, and Deactivated. You can mouse over on the chart to view the percentage of Accessories Assets for each Asset status.
  • You can view the Software details under the Hardware section available in the ASSET DASHBOARD tab. The pie chart displays the number of software based on the statuses i.e. Allocated, Available, and Deactivated. You can view the summary of Software in the drill-down page by clicking the number next to the respective status. The ASSET DETAILS drill-down page provides the information related to License Name, Total Quantity, Allocated Quantity, and Deactivated Quantity, and Available Quantity. You can further view the list of Software and its complete details in the LIST drill-down page by clicking the number under the status column.  

VARIANCE

  • You can view the total count of Hardware Variance and the count of Hardware Variance in Asset Categories, such as Desktop, Laptop, and so on. You can mouse over on the chart to view the percentage of Hardware Variance for the Asset Category.
  • You can view the total count of Software Variance and the count of Software Variance in Asset Categories, such as Desktop, Server, and so on. You can mouse over on the chart to view the percentage of Software Variance for the Asset Category.
  • You can view the total count of Software Non-compliance Variance and the count of Software Non-compliance Variance in Asset Categories, such as Pro desktop, Visual Studio Professional, and Project Standard. You can mouse over on the chart to view the percentage of Software Non-compliance Variance for each software.
  • To view the Hardware or Software variance details, click the related charts in the VARIANCE section.

    PRINT

    Click the PRINT icon to print the data displayed on the table. 

    EXPORT TO EXCEL

    Click EXPORT TO EXCEL icon to export the data displayed on the page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

SOFTWARE

  • You can view the Operating Systems Summary Report. It displays information about the number of installations of various operating systems.

OTHERS

  • You can view the count of Assets that are In Repair, Pending Acceptance, Allocated Pending Return, Movement Pending Return, Recently Discovered, Assets not contacted for > 30 days, Age of Asset > 4 years, Warranty expired, and Warranty about to expire in 30 days.

    Note:

    • You can search for Assets using the Search Asset icon. For more information about searching Assets, see Searching Assets.
    • You can select the type of Pie Chart by selecting a value from the Pie Chart Type drop-down list. Based on the selected Pie Chart type, all the Pie Charts are displayed under the HARDWARE and VARIANCE sections.
    • You can download the Pie Charts as JPEG, PNG, PDF, and SVG vector files using the Export Chart icon.
