Configuring Portfolio Record Approver

Who are Portfolio Record Approvers?

The Portfolio Record Approvers are the members responsible to review and approve SPRs and responsible to classify records and assign Workgroups and Analysts for fulfillment of the SPRs. (see: Service Portfolio Management). You can add or modify the Approver details for Service Portfolio Records (SPRs) under a Tenant. 

To configure Portfolio Record Approver:

  1. Select Portfolio > Configuration > Portfolio Record Approver.
  2. On the PORTFOLIO RECORD APPROVER page, click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel.
  3. Select the Tenant and a Workgroup. Type in the name of the Approver in the Approver text box or search for an Approver (see: Searching Users). If you select the Active check box, the Approver becomes an available option in the Approvers list on the other pages of the application.
  4. Click SUBMIT. A new Approver is configured.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons on the ACTIONS panel of the PORTFOLIO RECORD APPROVER page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the Service Portfolio Approvers configured for the selected Tenant.

  • To edit details of a Portfolio Record Approver, click the Workgroup. Make appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.
  • To display the inactive Portfolio Record Approvers, click the Include Inactive check box.
  • To view a specific set of SPRs, click Filters. Select the Workgroup for which you want to view the list of SPRs.

Note:

When the Portfolio Record Approvers are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to configure a new Portfolio Record Approver.
