The SAM Password Report provides the credentials for the list of Assets that are contacted by the SAM Agents through the Local Password Management policy. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

SummitAI Asset Management Agent (SAM) is a virtual agent that is installed on the client’s machine to systematically track, evaluate, and manage the Hardware and Software that are installed on the machine. The goal of SAM agent is to reduce IT expenditures, human resource overhead, and risks inherent in owning and managing the Hardware and Software Assets. Steps to access SAM Password Report

1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > SAM Password Report

2. Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report. The criteria FILTERS pop-up appears.

3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table. 

Field 

Description 

Tenant*

Tenant is similar to department in an organization, example : Operations, IT. Select the Tenant name from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Configuring Tenants.

Customer

Enter the name of the customer.

City

Select the City from the list available.

Country

Select the Country from the list available.

From DateSpecify the start date of the time period for which the report is to be displayed.
To DateSpecify the end date of the time period for which the report is to be displayed.
Version Specify the Version of the application.
Search BySelect the category for which the report is to be displayed.
Search Value*Enter the relevant Search Value based on the selected Search by category. This is a mandatory field. 

4. Click SUBMIT

The SAM Password Report will be displayed.

5. Click View Credentials icon to view the credentials of the selected machine.

6.To view the Machine password, click View Password. The Password will be displayed. Click OK.

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report 


ACTIONS 

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the SAM PASSWORD REPORT page.

Icon

Action

Prints the displayed report records.

Exports the displayed records on the page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

Exports the complete list of report records to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
