Asset Depreciation Report

The Asset Depreciation Report displays the depreciation details (depreciated values and the current values) for the Assets of a particular Tenant and Category. The depreciation is calculated by different depreciation methods, such as Straight Line Method, Down Line Method, Default Methods, and so on. Each Method is represented by a color code and the color codes are displayed on the report to indicate the particular method used to calculate the depreciation of a particular Asset. 

Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

 Additional Information

This report is primarily designed to display the expensing of the cost of an asset involved in producing revenues throughout its useful life. The asset depreciation expense affects the values of businesses and entities and affects net income.

Steps to access Asset Depreciation Report 

To view the Asset Depreciation Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Asset Depreciation Report.

  2. Click Filters on the ACTIONS panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report.
    The FILTERS pop-up appears.

  3. Enter or select the values as describe in the following table.

    FieldDescription
    DepartmentSelect the name of the department from the list. This is a mandatory field. For more information, see Department.
    CategorySelect the type of category.
    Depreciation MethodsSelect the methods of depreciations.
    Search BySelect the entity to search the results.
    Search ValueSelect the value to search the results.


  4. Click SUBMIT.
    The Asset Depreciation Report is displayed.

Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report .

ACTIONS

You can perform the following actions from the  ACTIONS  panel of the Asset Depreciation Report page.

Prints the displayed report records.

Exports the complete list of report records to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
