Logging SRs without Catalog

The Users with Express edition license can log an SR without using Service Catalog.

To log Service Request(s):

  1. Click Request > User > New Service Request. NEW SERVICE REQUEST page is displayed.

  2. Fill in the required details and click SUBMIT. For more information about the fields on the NEW SERVICE REQUEST page, see Field Description.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the NEW SERVICE REQUEST page.

Description

Workgroup

Select the required Workgroup in the drop-down list.

Category

Click Ā and select the category in the list.

Subject

Type in the subject of the Service Request.

Description

Type in the description of the Service Request.

Attachment

Click Upload icon and upload the related files.

Note:

The Service Request logged without using the Service Catalog does not require any Approval.
