Mapping VLAN to Proxy

You can map VLAN to a Proxy when more than one SummitAI Proxy Server is installed specific to the location.
To Map VLAN:
- Select Admin> User > Proxy View. The PROXY VIEW page is displayed.
- Click Tabular View icon and select the Proxy Server ID check box of the proxy to which you want to map VLAN.
- Click MAP VLAN on the ACTIONS panel. The MAP VLAN page is displayed.

- The list of Mapped VLANs are available in the LIST section.

Note:
- The Summit agent connects to summit proxy based on client IP. If you map an IP to the proxy, and the primary and secondary URL in the subnet range are specified, the Proxy Server directs the agent to connect to its nearest proxy server.
- To access the current location of the proxy IP address, enable Change Asset Agent Proxy Server job in the CUSTOM SCHEDULER page. For more information on how to configure jobs in the CUSTOM SCHEDULER page, see Configuring Custom Scheduler.
Field Description
The following table describes the fields on the MAP VLAN page:

DETAILS | |
Tenant | Select the Tenant from the drop-down list. |
Proxy Name | Select the Proxy Name from the drop-down list. |
Primary Proxy URL | Specify the Primary Proxy URL. |
Secondary Proxy URL | Specify the Secondary Proxy URL. |
View Unmapped VLANs | Select the check box, to display the list of Unmapped VLANs in the Available section. |
VLAN Configuration | Select the VLAN configuration from the list of Available VLANs and click > to map it to Proxy. |
Mapped | Select from the list of Mapped VLANs and click < to un-map the selected mapped VLANs. |

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the MAP VLAN page.
SHOW LIST
Click SHOW LIST to display all the proxies configured in the SummitAI application.
