For a selected Tenant and Module, the Administrator can configure section-wise fields that are required in the exported PDF file.
To configure fields:
- Select Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > PDF Content Designer.
- On the PDF CONTENT DESIGNER page, select the Tenant.
- Select the Module as Incident or Service Request or Change Management or Problem Management. If the module selected is Service Request, select the Layout Section as Service Request Details or My Service Request.
Select the check box next to the section to include the corresponding section in the exported PDF file. Drag the attributes from the highlighted box on the right-hand side and drop them under the selected sections. The attributes under selected sections will be included in the exported PDF.
Note:
If the administrator drags and drops the attributes under a particular section without selecting the check box next to the section name, then the check box next to the section name is automatically selected.
- You can provide a label name for the attribute as per the organization requirement by typing in the required label name in the text box provided below the attribute.
Click SUBMIT.
Note:
The attributes kept in the highlighted box on the right-hand side do not appear on the exported PDF. Only the attributes on the left-hand side appear on the exported PDF according to their sort order.
If the administrator drags and drops all the attributes under the highlighted box on the right-hand side from a particular section, then the check box next to the section name is automatically unchecked.
PDF Content Design - My Service Request- When My Service Request is selected in the Layout Section, the section Requestor Details is default and at least one attribute must be present under this section to get included in the exported PDF.
- Apart from Request details the default section, the other sections present in My Service Request configuration page are Service Request Details, User Communication, Approval Details, WO Details, and Catalog Details.
- The drag and drop functionality is not available for sections such as User Communication, Approval Details, WO Details, and Catalog Details. Either check any of these sections to include in the exported PDF or uncheck a section to exclude it from the exported PDF.
