You can view and monitor the details of all the Servers configured on the organization's network on the SERVER VIEW page.

To view Server View:

  1. Select Operations > User > Views > Server View.
  2. On the SERVER VIEW page, the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the Tenant and required filter options to view the list of Servers. Click SUBMIT. For more information about fields on the FILTERS pop-up page, see Filters.
    • You can search for a specific Server using the Search text box.
    • You can view the Servers in Tile view and Tabular view.

Tabular View

In the Tabular view, click the Server tile to view the Server details (see: Viewing Server Details).

Tile View

In the Tile view, click the Select icon to view the Server details (see: Viewing Server Details)

The Server status information is displayed with different status indicator images in the Tile view. The following table describes the various Server status information displayed on the SERVER VIEW page:

FieldDescription

Indicates that Server is Down.

Indicates that the Server is Up.

Indicates that the Server is Up, but the Server Monitoring is Not Successful.

Indicates that the Server is Under Maintenance.

Indicates that the Server is Up and only availability monitoring is available for the Server. This status is displayed for the Server, for which the administrator selects the Monitoring Byfield as None while adding the Server on the ADD/MODIFY SERVER page (see: Adding/Modifying Servers). 

Note: Only Details tab is displayed for this status. You can not view other details, such as CPU, Memory, and HDD utilization details. For more information about adding Servers, see Adding/Modifying Servers).

Indicates that the Services are Monitored.

Indicates that the Services are Down.

Indicates that the Hardware Health is Non-Critical.

Indicates that the Server is Up and there is Low Utilization.

Indicates that the Server is Up and there is Medium Utilization

Indicates that the Sever is Up and there is a High Utilization Alert.

Displays the Vendor logo. In this image, it indicates that the Sever is from the DELL Vendor.

Displays the logo of the operating system that is installed on the Server.

Displays the host name of the Server.

Displays the IP address of the Server.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields in the tabular view of the SERVER VIEW (Tabular view) page:

Field

Description

Reference ID

Displays the ID of the Server.

Host Name

Displays the host name for the Server.

IP Address

Displays the IP address of the Server.

Status

Displays the status of the Server.

If the Server is Down, it is displayed in red color.

If the Server is Up, it is displayed in green color.

CPU Util.%

Displays the percentage of CPU Utilization for the Server.

Memory Util.%

Displays the percentage of Memory Utilization for the Server.

HDD Util.%

Displays the percentage of Hard Disk Utilization for the Server.

Server Type

Displays the type of Server.

OS Type

Displays the type of operating system installed on the Server.

Description

Displays the brief description about the Server.

Customer

Displays the Customer to which the Server belongs.

Vendor

Displays the Vendor of the Server.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the SERVER VIEW page.

Filters

Click the Filters icon to specify a particular filter criteria to display the Servers. On clicking the Filters icon, the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the Tenant and other required details. Click SUBMIT

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page:

FieldDescription
DepartmentLists the Tenants for which logged in user has access. Select a Tenant from the list.
SearchYou can search for the  Servers by specifying the host name, serial number, primary IP, address, Nat IP address, reference ids and so on.
ViewLists the configured Views. Select the View from the list to display the Servers.
VendorLists the configured vendors. Select the vendor from the list to display the Servers for the selected Vendor.
CustomerLists the configured Customers. Select the Customer from the list to display the Servers for the selected Customer.
LocationLists the configured Locations. Select the Location from the list to view the Servers for the selected Location.
Ping ProtocolLists the configured ping protocols. Select the ping protocol from the list to view the Severs for the selected ping protocol.
CriticalityLists the configured Criticality values. Select the Criticality from the list to view the Servers for the selected criticality.
Monitoring SourceLists the monitoring sources for the Server. Select the monitoring source from the list to view the Servers configured for the selected monitoring source.
SNMP versionLists the SNMP versions for discovery. Select the SNMP version from the list to view the Servers discovered with the selected SNMP version.    
Service EntitlementLists the configured Service Entitlements. Select the Service Entitlement from the list to view the Servers for the selected Service Entitlement.
Monitoring ByLists the configured monitoring by options. Select a monitoring by from the list to view the Servers for the selected monitoring by option.
Server TypeLists the configured Server types. Select the Server type from the list to view the Servers for the selected Server type.
OS TypeLists the configured Operating System types. Select a OS type from the list to view the Servers for the selected OS type.
Server CategoryLists the configured Server Categories. Select the Server Category from the list to view the Servers for the selected Server Category.
GroupLists the configured Server Groups. Select the Group from the list to view the Servers for the selected Server Group.
Server Group TypeLists the configured Server group type. Select the Server Group Type from the list to view the Servers for the selected Server Group Type.

PRINT

Click PRINT to print the LIST table details.

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the LIST table details to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
