You can view and monitor the details of all the Printers configured on the organization's network on the PRINTER VIEW page.
To view Printer View:
- Select Operations > User > Views > Printer View.
- On the PRINTER VIEW page, list of configured Printers is displayed.
- You can search for a specific Printer using the Search text box.
- You can view the Printers in Tile view and Tabular view.
- In the Tile view, click the Printer tile to view the Printer details
Figure: PRINTER VIEW page (Tile View)The Printer status information is displayed with different status indicator images in the Tile view. The following table describes the various Printer status information displayed on the PRINTER VIEW page:
Status
Description
Indicates that all the Printers in the group are Up.
Indicates that some of the Printers in the group are Up.
Indicated that all of the Printers in the group are Down.
- In the Tabular view, click the Printer Name to view the Printer details.

- In the Tabular view, click the Printer Name to view the Printer details.
The following section describes the tabs on the PRINTER DETAILS pop-up:
The PRINTER DETAILS pop-up displays the Printer details, such as Printer Name, Customer, Mail To, Description, Location, Mail CC, and so on.

The following table describes the various tabs on the PRINTER DETAILS tab:
Fields | Description |
---|---|
Status section | You can view the Printer status and other Printer details, such as Printer Name, IP Address, Status. A Printer's icon is displayed. The color of the Printer represents the status of the Printer. |
Last Monitored On | Displays the last monitored date and time of Printer. |
DETAILS | In this section, you can view other Printer details, such as Printer Name, IP Address, Vendor, Customer, and so on. |
Printer Name | Displays the name of the Printer. |
IP Address | Displays the IP address of the Printer. |
Vendor | Displays the vendor name of the Printer. |
Print Server | Displays the Print Server name. |
Customer | Displays the Customer name. |
Location | Displays the location name. |
Mail To | Displays the configured e-mail address of the recipients to whom the alert/notification mails about the status of a Printer Server is sent in the To list. |
Mail CC | Displays the e-mail address of one or more person to whom the alert/notification mails about the status of a Printer Server is sent in the CC list. |
Monitoring Source | Displays the monitoring source of the Printer Server. |
Last Monitored | Displays the date and time the Printer was last monitored. |
Description | Displays the description for the Printer. |
Under the UTILIZATION SUMMARY tab you can view the Printer Utilization summary details, such as Printer Utilization, Toner Availability, and so on.

The following table describes the fields under the UTILIZATION SUMMARY tab:

Cartridge | Displays the name of Cartridge. Click the hyperlink to view the toner utilization graph for the selected month. See Screen shot |
Utilization | Displays the Utilization percentage of the Printer. |
High Threshold(%) | Specify the High Threshold value for the Printer. |
Medium Threshold(%) | Specify the Medium Threshold value for the Printer. |
Low Threshold(%) | Specify the Low Threshold value for the Printer. |
Printer Error List | Displays all the Printer errors. |
Include All | Select the Include All check box to display all the Printer Errors. |
EVENT LIST tab enables to view the events linked to the printer. You can filter the event list by specifying the filter criteria Event Status and Category. You can view critical,warning,alert and information. For more information about the EVENT LIST tab see, Field Description.

The following table describes the fields on the EVENT LIST tab.

Event Status | Lists the Event status. Select an Event status to filter and display the event list. |
Category | Lists the categories of the printers. Select a category to filter and display the event list. |

Critical | You can view the list of Critical events logged for the printer. |
Warning | You can view the list of Warning events logged for the printer. |
Alert | You can view the list of Alert event logged for the printer. |
Information | You can view the list of Information events logged for the printer. |
Serial Number | Displays the serial number. |
Event ID | Displays the event identification number. |
Category | Displays the category of the event. |
Status | Displays the status of the event. |
Message | Displays the message configured for the device. |
SOP icon | This icon is displayed if a SOP template is mapped to the device. Click the icon to view the SOP template. For more information see, Configuring Standard Operating Procedure Mapping. |
Error | Displays the occurred error in the device. |
Acknowledged | Displays the event acknowledged status. |
Created Date | Displays the date the event was created. |
Incident ID | Displays the incident identification number for the event. |
Note:
The tabs are displayed based on the configured Service Entitlement for the device.
ACTIONS
This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the PRINTER VIEW page:
Filters
Click the Filters icon to specify a particular filter criteria to display the printers. On clicking the Filters icon, the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Select the Tenant and other required details. Click SUBMIT.

The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Tenant | Lists the Tenants to which the logged in user has access. Select a Tenant from the list. |
Customer | Lists the configured Customers. Select the Customer from the list to display the printers for the selected Customer. |
Location | Lists the configured Locations. Select the Location from the list to view the printer for the selected location. |
Refresh Interval | Specify the refresh interval for the PRINTER VIEW page. |
Click PRINT to print the LIST table details.
EXPORT TO EXCEL
Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the LIST table details to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
