Identifying Target CI from Previous Script Output
Now, Orchestration provides an option to execute a Script on the CI identified from the previous output. A new option, From Previous Output, is added under the Target Host Type drop-down list. The format of the previous output is [CI: HOSTNAME] or [CI: IP ADDRESS]. For example, [CI: INBE01AUV06] or [CI: 129.0.1.0]. The previous output in this format allows in identifying the CI from CMDB for the next Action. The current Script executes and moves to the failure status if there are no output or CI details.
Example
Consider there are two Scripts (Script 1 and Script 2) in a Workflow. The Target Host Type of Script 2 is selected as From Previous Output. Then, the output of Script 1 is used to set the Target for Script 2.

To set Target CI from Previous Script Output:
- On the designer console of the WORKFLOW CONFIGURATION page, select a Script (Orchestration > New Workflow Configuration > WORKFLOW CONFIGURATION).
- Specify all the required fields. Drag and drop the required Scripts and Conditions.
- Select the required Script. Under the Action tab, specify the required details.
- Select the Target Host Type as From Previous Output and click SUBMIT.

After the execution of Scripts or Workflows, the Incident/Service Request Summary pop-up page or the WORKORDER DETAIL page displays all the Orchestration details related to Incidents, Service Requests, or Work Orders.
