Viewing Reports

You can configure the Business Impact Risk for a Network Device/Link/Server. The factors, such as Natural Calamities, Bomb Attack, Accident Due to Plane Crash, Eavesdropping, and Hardware Failure define the Business Impact Risk.

To configure Business Impact Risk:

  1. Select Operations > User > Risks > Business Impact.
  2. On the BUSINESS IMPACT page, click the Filters icon and select the Tenant and Device Type. Click SUBMIT. The list of all the Network Devices/Links/Servers under the selected Tenant are displayed.
  3. In the <Risk Name> column, select the Business Impact value for each asset in the event of the risk. For more information about the fields on the BUSINESS IMPACT page, see Field Description.

    The <Risk Name> column is configurable and there can be multiple Risk name columns based on the configurations done in the CONFIGURING RISK page. For details on configuring risks, see Configuring Risk

    • You can view the Server details by clicking the Host Name. On the Server details page, you can view the Details and History information.
    • You can view the Network Link details by clicking the Link Name. On the Network Link details page, you can view the Details, Utilization, and Errors details.
    • You can view the Network Device details by clicking the Host Name.
  4. Click SUBMIT. The Business Impact risk is configured.

The following table describes the fields on the BUSINESS IMPACT page.

Field

Description

Host Name

Displays the Host Name of the Network Device or Server. If the device type is a Network Link, instead of Host Name, Link Name column is displayed.

IP Address

Displays the IP Address of the Network Device/Server. This column is not displayed if the selected device type is Network Link. Instead, two additional columns, Source IP and Dest IP are displayed, which display the source and destination IP addresses for the Network Link.

Device Type

Displays the type of device.

<Risk Name>

Select the Business Impact value of the device in the event of the risk.
