About Operations Dashboard

On the OPERATIONS DASHBOARD page (Dashboard > Select Operations Dashboard menu > Operations Dashboard), you can view the current availability of all the configured entities for a selected Tenant. The availability of each entity, such as Servers, Devices, Links, Printers, URL, and Proxy are represented graphically.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY

You can view the CURRENT AVAILABILITY graph section for a selected Tenant. The page gets refreshed at specified intervals. You can maximize or minimize the CURRENT AVAILABILITY graph using the Maximize Screen  or Minimize Screen icon. The green color in the graph represents that the entity is up and red color in the graph represents that the entity is down. For example, in the following screen shot, 45/97 for LINKS indicates that 45 Links out of 97 Links are down. Click the graph to view the Link details.

MAP SECTION

On the OPERATIONS DASHBOARD page, you can also view the configured mapped locations on the map. You can select filter criteria by clicking the Filters icon  and based on the specified filter criteria, the map is refreshed and only the locations configured for the specified filter criteria are displayed. Click the Maximize Map Screen icon  to maximize the map. Click the Minimize Map Screen  icon to minimize the map screen.

The color code of the mapped location is based on the availability of the configured entities mapped to that location. If the configured mapped location is displayed in red, at least one of the configured entity mapped to the location is down. The configured mapped location is displayed in green if all the entities mapped to the location are up. Click the legend displayed on the map to view the entity details mapped to the location. On the Location pop-up, you can view the count of each entity mapped to the location and if the entity is down, you can view the issue details, such as Host Name, IP Address, and Reason. You can view the entity details if you click the Host Name hyper link. Click the Open Issues icon  to view the open issues for the respective location. You can filter the open issues based on the entity type and components of the entity type. Click the Network View icon  to view the network diagram of all the configured entities that are mapped to the respective location. Click the Filters icon  to display the open issue list based on the selected entity. By default, open issues of all the entities are displayed. You can maximize and minimize the map by using the + and - buttons respectively. You can also use the navigation buttons to locate the position of the place.
