Configuring Widget Tabs

You can add one or more tabs for a configured Widget. You can also view and modify the configured Widget tab names. The configured Widget tab names are displayed on the dashboard of the Widget application.

To configure Widget Tabs:

  1. Select Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Widgets > New Widget Tab.
  2. On the NEW WIDGET TAB page, click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel.
  3. Type in the required details. For more information about fields and icons on the NEW WIDGET TAB page, see Filed Description.
  4. Click SUBMIT. A new Widget Tab is configured.

Fields Description

The following table describes the fields on the NEW WIDGET TAB page:

Field

Description

DETAILS

Widget Name

Select a Widget from the list. All the Widgets configured in the application are displayed here.

Tab Name

Type in a name for the tab.

Tab Description

Type in the description for the tab.

Department

This option is applicable only for mobile view. If selected, department filter option is available on the mobile site.

Active

Displays the status set for the Tab.

  • If selected, the tab becomes active.
  • If not selected, the tab becomes inactive.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the NEW WIDGET TAB page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the configured Widget Tabs.

  • To edit a Tab, click the configured Widget Name. Make appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.
  • To display the inactive Widgets, click the Include Inactive check box.

Note:

When the configured Widgets are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW actions is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to configure a new Widget Tab.
