The Import Configurations by File feature enables the administrators to import the exported configurations. This avoids the need to add the same configuration in multiple servers, thus saving a lot of time and effort. For example, the administrators can import the configurations to a Production server from a Staging server.
To Import the Configurations by File:
- Select Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Export/Import > Import Configurations by File. The IMPORT CONFIGURATIONS BY FILE page is displayed.
- Click the Import icon and select the exported configuration file in XML format from the UNC path. For more information, see Exporting Configurations by File_General 1.
- The Master Types and their corresponding categories are displayed. All the Master Types are selected by default. Clear any fields that are not required and click IMPORT.

- Select the Override Existing Values check box if you want to replace the existing configuration with the newly imported configuration.
