Info

Use the Global search box to find any text in the Menu, Incident, Request, Asset, Procurement, Change, Problem, CMDB, Network, Server, and Knowledge.
You can also search any text present in the attachments except the image files. For information about the list of file formats that support Global Search, see SUMMITAI Platform Online Help.

The Administrators can also configure the file formats that should be ignored while performing Global Search (For more details, see Configuring Application Settings in SUMMITAI Platform Online Help).

Note

  1. Enter the ID to search for any Incident, SR, CR, CI, PR, or PO, requests.

  2. Type in single, double, or more words (separated by space, "OR" or "AND") to search in the SUMMIT application.

  3. Enter any text to search in the attachments. Note: Among the compressed files, only the text in the zipped files (.zip) can be searched.

  4. Enter a part of any word with the Wildcard character (''). *Example: If you type in "Softw*", the application searches all the records containing the words starting with Softw.
