Linux Discovery Agent Version 1.5

Overview

SummitAI has extended its discovery agent utility program support to Bash shell on the new Linux Discovery Agent version 1.5.

About Bash Shell

Bash is an acronym for ‘Bourne-Again SHell’ that is the default shell on many Linux distributions today. Brian Fox introduced the Bash shell in 1989. Bash shell offers practical improvements over K-shell and C-shell for programming and interactive use. Bash shell complies with the standards specified as part of IEEE POSIX.

  3. Unlimited size command history
  4. Shell Functions and Aliases
  5. Unlimited size Indexed arrays
  6. Integer arithmetic in any base from two to sixty-four
