Configuring Defect Severity_CM

You can configure the Severity of a Defect for a selected Tenant.
To configure Defect Severity:
- Select Change > Configuration > Defect Severity.
- On the DEFECT SEVERITY page, click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel.
- Select the Tenant and type in the new Defect Severity details. For information about the fields on the DEFECT SEVERITY page, see Field Description.
- Click SUBMIT. A new Defect Severity is configured.

Field Description
The following table describes the fields on the DEFECT SEVERITY page:

DETAILS | |
Severity Name | Specify the name of Defect Severity. |
Sort Order | Specify the sort order for the Defect Severity. |
Default | Select this check box to display the Defect Severity as a default selection on other pages of the application. |
Active | Indicates the status set for the Defect Severity.

ACTIONS
This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the DEFECT SEVERITY page.
SHOW LIST
Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the Defect Severity configured for the selected Tenant.

- To edit a Defect Severity value, click the Severity Name value. Make the appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.
- To display the inactive Defect Severity values, click the Include Inactive check box.
Note:
When the Defect Severity values are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to add a new Defect Severity value.
