What's New?

The following CMDB enhancements are made to improve the Application:

• Bootbox Alert and Confirm dialog boxes
• UI Enhancement

Bootbox Alert and Confirm dialog boxes

Now, the alert and confirmation messages on the following pages are displayed in a Bootbox dialog boxes:

• New Configuration Item
• Configuration Item Details
• Notifications
• Schedule Maintenance
• Change Blackout Window
• CMDB Services
• User Access Configuration

UI Enhancement

The CI Service Relation graph is enhanced to improve the look and feel of the Application on the CI SERVICE RELATIONSHIP pop-up page of the Services page. Also, the CI Service Relation graph displays the graph with the linked CI nodes.

Custom Classifications or Custom Tabs on the Hardware Variance pop-up Page

Now, the fields of the Custom Classifications or Custom Tabs are displayed on the Hardware Variance pop-up page of the CI ID page.

Prerequisites:

Follow the below prerequisites:

1. Create Custom Classifications in CLASSIFICATION page and Custom Tabs on the FORM BUILDER page.
2. Import the CI from the discovered data.
3. Map the Custom Tab fields on the CMDB DISCOVERY MAPPING page.

After mapping the discovered data gets updated for the Custom Tab fields under the Hardware Variance page. The names displayed in the Field Name column is the combination of Tab name, Group name, and Field name of the Custom Attributes. For example, Tab name_Group name_Field name.
