What's New?

Now, the data synchronization between the Asset Inventory and CMDB can be configured by Tenant. This data synchronization process is based on the configuration. For more information, see Configuring by Tenant.

UI Changes

Two new check boxes, Enable Hardware Variance Sync and Enable Software Variance Sync are added on APPLICATION SETTINGS BY TENANT page (Asset > Configuration > Others > Application Settings > Select CONFIGURE BY TENANT on the ACTIONS panel). 

• Enable Hardware Variance Sync: If selected, the Hardware Variance data gets synchronized between the Asset Inventory and CMDB (and vice versa) based on the configured CMDB mapping template (see: CMDB Mapping Template for Asset-CMDB Sync and Configuring CMDB Mapping Templates).

• Enable Software Variance Sync: If selected, the Software Variance data gets synchronized between the Asset Inventory and CMDB (and vice versa) based on the configured CMDB mapping template. (see: CMDB Mapping Template for Asset-CMDB Sync and Configuring CMDB Mapping Templates).

Configuration

The Administrators should schedule the Asset - CMDB Data Sync job on the CUSTOM SCHEDULER page (Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Custom Scheduler > Select a Job) to perform data synchronization. For more information, see Custom Scheduler.
