Feature released in SummitAI Platform

Right-to-Left (RTL) support for the Arabic language is available now in the SummitAI application from this version onwards.

The Menu items and UI strings (elements or text) in the SummitAI Application are positioned from right to left side Arabic nomenclature after opting for the Arabic language.

Benefits

The SummitAI Application in Arabic Language provides the following User Interaction benefits:

  • RTL feature enables better interaction of the service desk executives and administrators from a specific region. The righteous quote, “Language removes all barriers” applies as well.
  • Ease of readability by breaking language barriers for service desk executives and administrators from specific regions.
  • It also helps the service desk executives and administrators to clear their thoughts about functionalities in the application and enables them to work efficiently, which results in faster ticket resolution and configuring of the application natively.

Supported Browsers

The following are the supported Browsers to use the Arabic language:

  • Google Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

Known Issues:

  1. After translation, the URL Name column on the URL LIST page (Operations > Configuration > URLs > URL List) appends the URLs with the symbol “/” at the beginning instead of the end of the URL. (#76435)
For example, https://qademo.symphonysummit.com/DENALISP1HF02/ is translated to - /https://qademo.symphonysummit.com/DENALISP1HF02.

  2. The “-1” (Minus 1) value is translated to “1-” on the ALLOCATE/DEALLOCATE LICENSE page (Asset > Users > Manage Assets > Allocate/Deallocate License). This issue may also be found on few other pages of the Application.
