Advanced Remote Desktop Sharing Enhancements

What's New?

A new front-end configuration is added in the SummitAI application, where, the Administrators can configure Advanced Remote Desktop Sharing option for both On-Premise and On Cloud SummitAI installations. Earlier, the Advanced Remote Desktop Sharing feature was available only for the On-Premise instances. The Administrators had to make the configurations from the backend. Now, the configurations are available on the front-end with options available for both On-Premise and On Cloud.

The Advanced Remote Desktop Sharing feature (Paid Remote Desktop Sharing) provides many advanced features to the users, such as the End User and the Analyst do not require to be on the same network to share their screens, Recording Sessions, and File Transfer, etc. For more information about Advanced Remote Desktop Sharing, see Remote Desktop Sharing.

A new Hosted On option is added on the APPLICATION SETTINGS page (Admin > Basic > Infrastructure > Application Settings > Select the Tenant for Advanced Remote Desktop Sharing). Two new values are available, On Cloud and On-Premise. If On Cloud is selected, the Administrators need to provide values for the following fields: Advanced Remote Desktop Sharing URL, URL Display Name, User Name, Password, and Confirm Password.
