The Dynamic Local Admin Password Management is about the Local Admin Account passwords in Microsoft Windows Operation System (Windows 7 and Windows 10) on laptops and desktops can be managed using this functionality. The local Admin accounts password is unique across the enterprise. If any user wants to access the Local Admin Account of the identified system, they go to a designated portal and provide the required IP Address or Host Name. If they give the correct details, they can view the password using which they can access the identified system. The Local Admin Password is reset automatically based on the frequency configured in the SummitAI platform.
To configure Dynamic Local Admin Password Management:
- Select Asset > Configuration > Others > Local Password Management.
- On the LOCAL PASSWORD MANAGEMENT page, under the DOMAIN NAME tab, fill in the required details to configure the Domain. For more information about fields on the DOMAIN NAME tab, see 27558522 21477295.

- Under the USER ACCOUNT WITH DOMAIN tab, fill in the required details to associate a User Account with the Domain Name (see: 27558522 21477295).

Allow Local Account | Select this option to configure allowed administrator local account. The other administrator accounts will be disabled. |
Allowed Account(s) | Type in a list of allowed accounts. |
Active | Indicates the status of the Domain.
