This section provides details about the fixed customer issues in following modules.

Agentless Discovery

Stack switches were not getting discovered with the SNMP V3 configuration.

 

Steps

  1. Select Admin> Advanced>Discovery & Monitoring > Discovery

  2. Create a Discovery Job for stack switch and select SNMP v3 credentials from the Monitoring Account

  3. Click SUBMIT to run the job. 

Stack switches are discovering in the SNMP V3 configuration. 

Asset Management

The OS version text field data was displaying data in date field value format instead of numbers.


This issue occurred when the user tried to perform an Excel Import update to the assets and also tried to manually update the data on the OS Version text field.


Steps:

To perform asset import process through excel, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Asset > User > Manage Assets > Import > Import Asset.

  2. On the Import Asset configuration page, provide all the required details under GENERAL and MAPPING

  3. In the PREVIEW section, check and verify the data displayed under OS Version

To check the imported asset details on asset inventory page, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Asset > User > Manage Assets > Asset Inventory.

  2. Select Fixed Asset Type on the Asset Inventory page.

  3. On the Fixed Asset List page, check the OS Version column.

The OS version text field data displays OS version details successfully without any issues after the resolution.

Using Report Builder only a few reports like Asset Management, CMDB, or Service Catalog reports can be generated.  

When a Tenant is mapped for example to Knowledge or Call management then the Report Type drop down is displayed as NO DATA. 

  1. Navigate to Admin> Infrastructure > Report Builder

  2. Click Filters.

  3. Select the Tenant having only Knowledge Management and Call Management module access. 

  4. Click dropdown Module Name, Report Type and verify if appropriate modules are displayed.
