Enhancement of Additional Discovery feature: Introduction of Peripheral Discovery.

 

User Persona: Asset Manager/ Asset Admin 

The Peripheral Discovery feature acts as an enhancement to the already existing Additional Discovery feature.
 
This enables the Asset Manager to handle both the connected computer peripherals and the parent asset by adding the scanned computer peripherals to the inventory. 

The details are captured and displayed under Peripherals tab in Asset Details grid.

 

For more information, refer to Peripheral Discovery.

  • Access to information on peripheral devices connected to the Parent asset.

  • Flexibility to select the peripherals to be scanned. 

  • Helps in enhancing the tracking and traceability of these peripheral devices. 

  • Improves user experience by displaying information on a single screen.
