What's New?

The Summit Service Automation Release Notes v7SP1 provides improvement details, customer fixed issues, and known issues in the current release. Many of these improvements are incorporated based on customer feedback and inputs. We thank you for your valuable feedback and time.

New Features and Improvements
Automation Scheduler for Workflows

  • The Summit Service Automation V7SP1 provides a unique capability to configure a scheduler which works automatically when the defined conditions are met.

New Automation Scheduler feature is introduced to initiate the configured workflow automatically without any human intervention when the scheduler/time conditions are met.


User Persona: HR Managers, IT and Cloud Administrators


This feature automatically triggers the workflows for the scheduled job based on the defined conditions.
It helps with the execution of any workflows that must be performed at a specific time or repeatedly.

Note

A new Orchestration token should be generated and updated in “Summit Web.config” and “Orchestration Proxy Configuration” due to the change in the authorization logic.
