Addition of new columns in the Asset Allocation and Deallocation Screen

What's New?

During the process of Allocation (Single and Bulk), Reallocation, and Deallocation of Assets, an IT Asset Manager can now view additional details such as Asset Tag and Model No, along with the already existing standard fields such as Asset ID, Category, Serial No, and Asset Code.  This provides a comprehensive view of the required asset details.  

Benefits

  • IT Asset Manager can now have easy access to various details of selected assets to perform the Allocation, Reallocation and Deallocation process swiftly.  
  • This enhancement helps in saving time from manual search of information.  

Configuration

To view the Asset Allocation/Deallocation/ Reallocation Screen: 

  1. Navigate to Asset > Asset Inventory > Fixed Asset Type. 
  2. Select the Tenant from the drop-down, which is a mandatory field.

3. Click the relevant Asset count hyperlink from Allocated, In-Store column. A Fixed Asset List Page will be displayed.

4. Select the checkbox of the asset for which the action is to be performed.  

5. Allocate/ Reallocate/ Deallocate can be selected from the ACTIONS panel.

6. Click SUBMIT.

The Asset Summary page will be displayed where the newly added columns are visible under the Selected Asset grid.


The Selected Asset grid for Single Asset Allocation contains asset details such as Asset ID, Category, Serial Number, Asset Tag, Model Number, and Asset Code for the respective single asset.

The Selected Asset grid for Bulk Asset Allocation contains asset details such as Asset ID, Category, Serial Number, Asset Tag, Model Number, and Asset Code for the multiple assets selected.

The Selected Asset grid for Asset Reallocation contains asset details such as Asset ID, Category, Serial Number, Asset Tag, Model Number, and Asset Code for the respective asset.
