Searching Assets

You can search for Assets (Fixed, Accessories, Consumable, and Software) by specifying appropriate filter criteria on the FILTERS  pop-up pages.

To search for specific Assets:

1. On the ASSET INVENTORY page (Asset > User > Manage Asset > Asset Inventory), under the SELECT THE ASSET TYPE section, select the Asset type for the Asset you want to search. For example, to search for Fixed Assets, click the FIXED icon.
2. On the selected <ASSET TYPE> page, click Filters. the FILTERS pop-up page is displayed. Specify the required filter criteria to view a particular set of Assets, and then click SUBMIT. For more information about the fields on the FILTERS  pop-up page, click the respective drop-down Hotspot.

   Field Description

   The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page.

   Field	Description
   Tenant	Select the Tenant from the drop-down list.
   Status	Select the Status from the drop-down list to view the Assets.
   Category	Select the Category from drop-down list.
   Checker Status	Select the Status of the Asset. The Asset status set by Checker is displayed in the drop-down field. This field is displayed only when on the Asset Management TENANT configuration page, the Enable Checker to Approve Requests from Maker checkbox is active and Add drop-down value is selected for Actions for Checker to Approve field.    Location	Select the Location from the drop-down list to view Assets that belong to that location. Click the Search icon to select the Location. On the LOCATION pop-up page, the Locations are displayed in the tree view. Use the Expand icon or click the Location name to expand the Location tree and select the required Location. You can also search for the required Location using the Search bar. Figure: LOCATION pop-up page
   Return	The Return drop-down list is displayed, if you select Allocated in the Status drop-down list. You can select either By User or By Request. If By User is selected, the Allocated Type drop-down list is displayed, where you can select the filter criteria such as Single User, Multiple Users, Tenant, Location and Customer. Based on the selected filter criteria, the subsequent field is displayed.
   Allocated Type	The Allocated Type drop-down list is displayed, if you select By User in the Return drop-down list. You can select the filter criteria such as Single User, Multiple Users, Tenant, Location or Customer. Based on the selected filter criteria, the subsequent field is displayed. Select the appropriate values.
   Search By	Select the search by criteria from the list. To specify multiple search values in the Search Value field, click the  icon. The  icon is displayed
   Search Value	Specify the search value for the selected Search By criteria. To search by multiple search values, specify the search values separated by comma or in new lines.
   Asset Condition	Select an Asset condition to view the list of Assets.

   Field Description 

   The following table describes the fields on the FILTERS pop-up page.

   Field	Description
   Tenant	Select the Tenant from the drop-down list.
   Category	Select the Category from drop-down list.
   Store	Select the Store from the list to view Assets that belong to that Store. Click the Search icon to select the Store. On the LOCATION pop-up page, the Stores are displayed in the tree view.    Attribute Name	Select the Attribute Name from the drop-down list.
   Attribute Value	Select the Attribute Value from the drop-down list.
   Status	Select a Status to view the list of Assets. You can select either In-Store or Allocated to view the In-Store or Allocated Consumable, respectively. If In-Store is selected, the Search By and SearchValue fields are displayed.
   Search By	Select the SearchBy criteria from the drop-down list.
   Search Value	Specify the Search Value for the selected Search By criteria.

   Search Value	Specify the Search Value for the selected Search By criteria.
