Feature released in SummitAI Service Management (Denali SP1)

What's New?

A new functionality is implemented to improve the search ability of the Location field. Based on the Location Hierarchy and the number of Locations, the search ability of the Location field changes to provide the best user experience. The Location search control is displayed as a single search, drop-down, or multi-search control.

  • If the Location Hierarchy does not exist, and the Location Count is <=1000, the drop-down Location control is displayed.

  • If the Location Hierarchy does not exist, and the Location Count is >1000, the single search Location control is displayed.

  • If the Location Hierarchy exists, the single search Location control is displayed.

Note:

This feature was introduced in the DENALI version and implemented only on a few pages. For more information, see SummitAI Denali Release Notes. Now, in this version, it is implemented on the following pages.

How it Works?

On the following pages, the new enhanced location search control is implemented. Based on the Location Hierarchy and Location Count, the Location search control on the following pages appears as a single search, drop-down or multi-search control:
