Software Installation By Customer Report

The Software Installation By Customer Report displays graphical and tabular reports for software installations by the customers based on the specified Tenant, location, and other details. You can view a detailed or summarized report on the count of software installations. This report is helpful for easier maintenance and to count the number of installations done by a specific customer/s from the single user interface.

Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

 Additional Information

You can use this report to keep a track of the software installed based on their vendors along with the total number of copies installed. Click on the Installation Count hyperlink to get to know the count of software installed by the customer.

Steps to access Software Installation By Customer Report
To view the Software Installation By Customer report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Software Installation By Customer Report.
  2. Click Filters.
    The Filters pop-pup page is displayed.

  3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the Field Description table.

    Field Description

    The following table describes the fields available under the FILTERS pop-up page:

    Field

    Description

    TenantSelect the required tenant from the drop-down list.
    CustomerSpecify the customer for which you want to display the report.
    Location

    Specify the location from the location hierarchy tree.

    Software Type

    Select type of the software from the drop-down list. Available options are as follows:

    • Summary - Select this option if you want to view the summary of report.
    • Detail - Select this option if you want to view the detailed report.
    Include In-Store AssetsSelect the check box to include In-Store Assets.
    Search By

    Select the required option from the drop-down list. Available options are as follows:

    • All Publisher - Select this option if you want to display the report for all publishers.
    • All Software - Select this option if you want to display the report for all software.
    • Select the Publisher. -  Select this option if you want to display the report for a specific publisher.
    • Select the Software. - Select this option if you want to display the report for a specific software.
    Publisher

    Select the specific publisher or publishers from the drop-down list for which you want to display the report.

    Note:

    This field is enabled only if Search By is selected as Select the Publisher.

    Software

    Select the specific software or softwares from the drop-down list for which you want to display the report.

    Note:

    This field is enabled only if Search By is selected as Select the Software.

    Search ValueSpecify the search value such as Asset ID value, Asset Code value, etc.
  4. Click Submit.
    The Software Installation By Customer report is displayed. You get a graphical and tabular view of the report. A sample screenshot is shown below:

    Click the Refresh Report to fetch latest details for the report. Any changes performed after the Reports page was loaded, will reflect if you click on Refresh Report .

ACTIONS

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the Software Installation By Customer report page.

Icon

Action

Prints the displayed report records.

Exports the displayed records on the page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

Exports the complete list of report records to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
