Discovery Mapping_AM

You can configure Discovery Mapping. In Discovery Mapping, for each Category of Asset, the fields that should be displayed during the Asset Discovery process are mapped. In Asset Discovery, all the hardware and software components of the IT inventory in the organization are identified and their details are captured and stored in the Asset repository.

To configure Discovery Mapping:

1. Select Asset > Configuration > Mapping > Discovery Mapping.

2. On the DISCOVERY MAPPING page, select the Tenant and fill in the required details. For more information about fields and icons on the DISCOVERY MAPPING page, see Discovery Mapping_AM#Field Description.

3. Click SUBMIT. The Discovery Mapping is configured.
