Introducing Izenda 3.13 Version

Izenda has been upgraded from version 2.18 to version 3.13, which has more improved features and a better user interface. 

Prerequisites for Upgrading Izenda 3.13 Version

The prerequisites for upgrading to 3.13 version you must perform the following steps:

  1. Delete SummitBI folder (Webfiles\) and add the latest one from the upgrade files.

  2. Delete the existing Izenda API folder, add the latest upgrade files, and update the respective configurations in SummitBI Folder.

  3. Delete CustomAdhocReports.dll and configuration file for this DLL from Izenda API folder. 

  4. Download the migration script and execute it in the database. Click here to download the script.


The enhancements and novel new features that are included in the updated version of Izenda 3.13.

Enhance Features

  • Included KPI feature in the Report Part Type.
  • Meliorated the filter’s settings in the report.
  • Better Selection of Data Source.
  • IzendaSystemSetting now has additional fields.
  • Configurable to Set the Routing Data Deletion.
  • New D3 Chart in the Tree Map
    When more than one X-axis field is present, this contains special banner functionality when multi-level is enabled.
  • Case sensitive is an expected behavior in the latest version.
  • Remove inactive or deleted users from Email events.

Aesthetic Improvements

  • Display Field Names Under Pie Charts.
  • Pivot Options:
    • In pivot grids, remove extra Side and Sub Total columns.
    • Logical new separator type for pivot grids.
    • Row- and column-specific conditional formatting.
  • Report Part Property-level conditional formatting for grids for NULL, Blank, or All values.

Fixes

  • The filter with multiple selections is operational.
  • The filter for between dates is working.
  • The Special Character issue (++, %) has been resolved and drilldown is showing results.
  • Maps display the locations.
  • The dashboard is operating properly in presentation mode.
  • In pivot reports, "object-object" was shown when the mouse was hovered over; this has been fixed.
  • The Edge browser's scroll bar has been fixed.
  • When the first report in the dashboard is null, the data in the filters does not load (does not have any data).

Izenda Configuration - Post Upgradation

In the Izenda version 3.13, post upgrade if you finding these following exporting issues then refer the steps provided to address these issues.

These issues occurred if msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll files are not registered with Syncfusion. You can view an error 'Syncfusion.Pdf.PdfException' in the Izenda log. Click the hyperlink to view the Izenda log.

To address these issues, you have to copy these DLL files to the respective folder and run the tool.

Navigation TimeOut Issue

This issue occurred if there is an latency issue while exporting. You can view an error 'ExportNavigationTimeout' in the Izenda log. Click the hyperlink to view the Izenda log.

To address this issue, set the IzendaSystemSetting set Value='240' as displayed in the following path.
