This section provides details about the fixed customer issues in following modules.

Service Management

124200When an Analyst clones a Change Record (CR) and then saves the new CR as a Draft, the status of the CR was getting updated as Requested instead of Draft.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Change > New Change Record
     
  2. Fill in all the mandatory fields.

  3. Save the CR as Draft. 
     
  4. Clone the drafted CR and save the cloned CR as Draft. 
     
  5. Verify the drafted CR.
After cloning and saving a CR as Draft, the status is successfully getting updated as Draft.

The notification template was not picking the correct status in Subject when CR is auto closed

Prerequisites:

1.       Configure the ‘Change Request Closing                  Mode’ as auto and Auto Closing Days as 1              at the tenant level for desired tenant.

2.       Auto Close Change Request’ job should be            running.

Steps:

 

1.       Navigate to Change > User > New                       Change  Record.

2.       Select the Tenant and the Owner                           Workgroup.

3.       Select the Change Type as Normal.

4.       Link the CI, enter all mandatory field, and                submit. A CR Id will be created.

5.       Authorize the CR, Approve the CR and                    Implement the CR.

6.       Wait for the configured interval for Auto               closing.

7.       Verify the Email Subject and Body for the                closed status notification template mail.

The correct status is displayed in Subject when CR is auto closed.

Asset Management

The attribute values were not displayed as expected in Filters popup in Software Asset Inventory when the Attribute Name was selected as License Type or License Name.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Asset > Manage Assets > Asset Inventory. The Asset Inventory page is displayed.

  2. Select Software. The Software Asset Inventory page is displayed.

  3. Click on Filters icon under Actions panel. Select the required tenant from Tenant drop-down.

  4. Select Attribute Name as License Type or License Name.

  5. Verify the drop-down list of Attribute Values field.
The attribute values are displayed as expected in Filters popup in Software Asset Inventory when the Attribute Name is selected as License Type or License Name.

When the user tried to update the date fields in asset using Excel Import functionality, the date fields were not updated correctly.   

Only the Date and Month details except the Year were displayed on the Asset List page. 
 
In the Asset Details page, the Date, Month, and Year fields displayed proper data, but when the same record was exported to Excel, there was a discrepancy in the Year field details. 

 

 

 

 

 

Steps

To perform Asset Import action, perform the following steps: 

  1. Navigate to Asset > User > Manage Assets > Import > Import Asset. 
     
  2. Enter all the required details and upload the Excel file in Source field. 
    Click SUBMIT
     

To check the imported Asset, perform the following steps:  

  1. Navigate to Asset > User > Manage Assets > Asset Inventory
     
  2. Select the desired Asset Type on Asset Inventory page. 
    Asset LIST page is displayed. 
     
  3. Select the desired Tenant from the drop-down, which is a mandatory field. 
     
  4. Check the newly imported Asset and verify the details. 
Excel Import functionality works fine and displays all the date fields accurately after the resolution.
