Viewing Discovery report of Linux desktops

 Viewing the Discovery report of Linux machines 

This section provides details of how to view the Discovery report on Linux machines.

To view the Discovery Report on Linux machines, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Discovery & Monitoring > Discovery. 

  2. On the DISCOVERY TEMPLATES page, click FILTERS on the ACTION panel.

  3. Select the Tenant and click SUBMIT.

  4. On the DISCOVERY page, Click View Jobs to get the list of configured jobs under SSH.

  5. Navigate to the job details page using the Tabular View or  Tile View icon on Discovery/Jobs panel. It redirects to job details page.

  6. Click the data under the Scanned column on the JOB DETAILS page.

         It redirects to the Discovered IP(s) records page.

      7. Click the IP address and view the Discovery details.

      8. Click HARDWARE to display the monitor attributes of the device.

        The desktop attribute gets displayed under the HARDWARE details section of the report as shown in the screenshot.

      If Monitor parameters are defined under Parameter Name and not discovered, it will appear under Error column on the JOB DETAILS page.
