Workplan_Mapping

 

Mapping the Tasks Templates from a Workplan to auto-create a CR and sequencing the execution of Tasks Templates by setting an Execution Order is called Workplan Mapping. Workplan Mapping can be configured for both Global and Local Tenants. A globally configured Workplan can be used on a Local Tenant upon de-linking the global configuration on a Local Tenant.

Configure Global Tenancy in Workplan Mapping

Workplan can be configured at the Global Tenant Level, these are inherited to all the Local Tenants by default.

To configure Global Tenancy in Workplan Mapping, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Change > Configuration > Workplan Mapping.
    This will help you navigate to Workplan Mapping Configuration page.

  2. Click ADD NEW on the Actions panel.
    This Action will help you to add a new Workplan Mapping on the Global Tenant.

  3. Enter the required details and click ADD.
    This Action maps the Task Template to CR.

  4. Click Submit.

  5. Mapped Workplan is displayed on the Workplan Mapping page of the Global Tenant.

Configure Global Workplan on Local Tenant

All the Workplans created on the Global Tenant gets inherited to Local Tenant, However, to edit the global configuration on Local Tenant you will have to de-link the Workplan from the Global Configuration.

To Configure Global Workplan on Local Tenant, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Change > Configuration > Workplan Mapping.

  2. Select Local Tenant from the Tenant list.

  3. Select Workplan Mapping configured on the  Global Tenant.
    Upon selecting you can configure Global Workplan Mapping on the Local Tenant.

  4. Click DE-LINK.
    All the fields will be disabled. This option allows you to edit the globally configured Workplan Mapping on the Local Tenant.

  5. Click SUBMIT.
    Upon submission, Global Configuration, will be converted to a Local Configuration.

  6. As all the fields are enabled, you can edit the Workplan.

  7. De-linked Global Workplan Mapping is represented with the De-link icon on the Local Tenant.
