Configure_CM_Workflow_Designer
A workflow design should have a starting point which can be referred to as an initiation. Upon initiation, Workflow goes through the process of Approvals and Notifications. This has been introduced in Global Tenancy which allows the globally configured Workflow to be used on the Local Tenant.
A Workflow can be configured at Global and Local Tenancy as well.
Configure Change Workflow with Global Tenancy
Workflow Designer for Change Management module provides a step-by-step procedure represented by a flow diagram that can be designed based on the requirement. Certain activities can be performed such as: configuring Approver, setting Conditions, and sending Notifications.
To configure CM Workflow Designer with Global Tenancy, perform the following steps:
Navigate to Admin > Infrastructure > Workflow.
This will help you to navigate to the Workflow page on which Workflow can be created.Figure: Workflow Navigation
Select GLOBAL TENANT from the Tenant dropdown list.
This will help you to create and configure Workflow for a Global Tenant in Change module.

To create a new Workflow, click add icon . This will help you create a new workflow for a Change.Figure: Workflows
Enter the required details, choose GLOBAL TENANT from the Tenant dropdown list., and click SAVE.
This will help you to design a Workflow for Change in Global Tenancy. Workflow created on Global Tenant is applicable for ALL the Customers, this field cannot be edited on the Properties pop-up.Figure: Workflow Properties
Select Activity.
Using this you can design the workflow by adding Approval, Task, Condition and Notification.Figure: Workflow Activity
Drag and Drop Approval component, enter the required details and click SAVE.
This option allows you configure Approval Properties for a Workflow. All the configured users on the Approver dropdown list should be part of the Global Domain.

This option allows you configure Task properties for a Workflow with Globally configured Status fields.

This option allows you configure Condition properties for a Workflow on the Global Tenant.

This option allows you configure Notification properties for a Workflow and the users displayed on the Additional Recipient search list should be configured as Global Users.

This will allow you to edit the properties of a Workflow.

Upon clearing the checkbox, Workflow will be inactive in the Global Tenant level.Figure: Workflow Properties
Configure Global Change Workflow on Local Tenant
Configuring Global Workflow on Local Tenant allows you design the Local Workflow with Global values.
To configure Global CM Workflow on Local Tenant, perform the following steps:
Navigate to Admin > Infrastructure > Workflow.
Enter the required details on the FILTERS, select Local Tenant from the Tenant dropdown list and click SUBMIT.
This will help you to create and configure Workflow on a Local Tenant with global values in Change module.

Select globally configured workflow.
All the properties of Global Workflow will be in disabled state on the Local Tenant, and not editable.Figure: Global Workflow Properties
Select De-link on the global workflow in Local Tenant.
This option helps you to edit the global workflow in the local tenant.Figure: Global Workflow Design
Click SUBMIT to De-link.
Upon de-linking, Global Configuration will be converted to a Local configuration.Figure: Global Workflow Design
Right click on Approval and edit the properties of the De-Linked Global Workflow on Local Tenant.
This option enables you to configure the global values on Local Tenant approver.Figure: De-linked Workflow Approval Properties
Click SAVE.
Click Submit.
Changes are reflected on the Workflow.Figure: Workflow Design
Upon successfully de-linking the Global Workflow, it will be displayed along with the de-link icon on the local tenant list page.
